Students of HXIT Won the Second Prize

On November 30th, the students majoring accounting from the School of Business of our school won the second prize in the provincial quarterfinals of the 11th “China Accounting Network School Cup” Campus Accounting Competition.

Led by teachers Lin Bo, He Qi, and Ao Yan from the Business School, Wang Zicong, Wang Xiaoyu, and Liu Siyu participated in the competition. The competition is conducted in the form of online answers and is divided into two sections: “Financial and Taxation Practice Knowledge” and “Financial Situation Error Correction”. After fierce competition, our school's representative team won the second prize.

       The “China Accounting Online School Cup” National Campus Accounting Competition is a national accounting competition organized by the Higher Financial & Economic Education Branch of China Higher Education Association and sponsored by CEDL (China Distance Education Holdings Ltd.). Nearly 300 students majoring in accounting and financial management of our school signed up to participate in the preliminary competition. After the preliminary selection of the school, three outstanding students formed a representative team to participate in the provincial semi-finals. With the joint efforts of teachers and students, they finally achieved excellent results in the provincial semifinals.

     The excellent results this time have fully demonstrated the solid theoretical foundation and flexible knowledge application capabilities of the accounting majors of our school, highlighting the effectiveness of the teaching reform of the accounting major. Over the years, our school has actively promoted dual-certificate education, introduced vocational qualification examination modules in teaching activities, encouraged students to actively obtain various accounting vocational qualification certificates, and held campus accounting competitions, tax skills competitions and other events to promote learning by competitions, thus improving the quality of the talents in our school.
