On June 30, a report meeting of HXIT famous teacher studios was held in conference room 1402 of the administrative building. The meeting focuses on the studios' work in fileds of production, education and research and was greatly valued by the university. Chairman Zhang Xiaodong, President Wu Yongqiao, Executive Vice President Du Hui, Vice President Ding Chengzhong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President Li Haimin and other university leaders attended the meeting.
At the meeting, a total of nine studios reported their work in the past year through slide show, presentation and interactive discussion. They are Baiyi Studio, Huaxia Construction Planning Studio, Red Huaxia Studio, Laisi Education and Culture Media Studio, Leisure Sports Studio, Huaxia Culture and Tourism Studio, Huaxia Business Operation Studio, Huaxia Soft Union Studio and Township Data Studio. From the aspects of team building, project development, cultivating talents, scientific research achievements, etc., they introduced their experience of building teacher studios and shared their reflections based on the basic situation, work priorities, achievements, existing problems, improvement measures and future plans. What’s more, multi-dimensional support for curriculum construction, professional construction and dual-teacher construction, exploring the integrated education model of application-oriented undergraduate colleges and universities, and realizing the common growth of teachers and students are the shared aspirations of the directors of the nine studios.
Ms. Zhang Chengfang, director of the scientific research department of our universtiy, introduced that the system of industry-university-research famous teacher studios was established in 2020, and 42 industry-university-research teacher studios have been developed successively. The studios closely focus on the university's development strategy, take education and teaching as the center, industry demand as the guide and occupational requirements as the standard. They have promoted the training of applied talents from the aspects of curriculum content organization, teaching reform research, curriculum system construction, etc.
Mr. Zhang Xiaodong fully affirmed the beneficial exploration made by the famous teacher studios and further highlighted their role as an important link in the construction of university education management and personnel training. He emphasized that the development of the famous teacher studios is deeply linked to the teaching reform and innovation; he demanded to integrate the human resources and intellectual resources of the university and encouraged the faculty to carry out creative work. At last, he hoped that the studios would strive to form a sustainable and replicable development model and a product scale mechanism to promote teaching reform and innovation of our university.
